Morning!

Do you like mornings? As I’m getting older, I like mornings more and more. I guess I’ve found some magic in early mornings, when you seat with bare feet on the chair in your pyjamas, drinking coffee and planning your day/ reading a book/ making up your mind. Find some precious minutes for your own every morning and you’ll find out that it’s the best time of the day.

Autumn

Autumn is brown, full of coffee and small pleasures. It brings new inspiration one year after another. You just need to open your eyes and take your head from the ground to catch it. Enjoy!

Sunday pancakes

It’s finally Sunday, and of course I’m gonna treat myself with traditional Sunday breakfast – pancakes. These pancakes are so good that I decided to share with you a recipe. It’s quick and simple, so you don’t need to be le chef to cook this yummy stuff.

P.S. I’m sorry if the way I write measurements is weird for you, but that’s the way we do it in my country.

Ingredients:

  • 240 gr of flour
  • 1 tablespoon of cacao powder
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 30 gr of butter
  • 250 ml of milk
  • 1 egg

To do:

  • Mix flour, cacao, sugar & baking powder. Mix thoroughly.
  • Melt butter
  • Blend dry ingredients with milk, egg and melted butter. Use mixer. Dough shouldn’t be too liquid.
  • Don’t put any butter on your pan. Just heat it. Use a spoon to pour dough on the pan. When you see some kind of bubbles on the pancake, turn it.

I eat pancakes with strawberries and 2 types of adding: greek yoghurt and powdered sugar or Philadelphia cheese cream. To make this cream you just need Philadelphia or any other similar cheese and powdered sugar. Mix 2 ingredients and you’ll get an incredible cream that can be used also while cooking cupcakes and cakes.

These are plain cakes without cacao powder, but they are good too. Recipe is the same, just don’t add cacao powder.
